Our Beliefs

  • The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and our final authority for faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16; Proverbs 30:5).
  • God is one in unity but three in persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 John 5:7).
  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God (Luke 1:35). He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose on the third day, and is coming again (Isaiah 7:14; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Matthew 28:1–9; Acts 1:11).
  • Salvation is not by works but by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8–9).
  • The church is the body of Christ and is called to worship God, make disciples, and serve others (Ephesians 1:22–23).
  • Baptism by immersion and commemoration of the Lord’s Supper are ordinances of the church (1 Corinthians 11:23–26; Mark 16:16).
  • Every believer is called to live a holy life, which the Holy Spirit empowers him or her to do (1 Peter 1:15–16; Zechariah 4:6).
